Mr Chad Ellis showed me the Boolean tool in Maya yesterday... greatest button ever!! So i had a go at modelling a set for my new piece. Really enjoyed doing it! It's nearly finished animation wise, I just need to render it and all that. But first... PORTUGAL!!
(I didn't model the chairs though... strictly the square stuff :D )

Hi Joseph, your animation looks great. The boolean tool really sucks in Maya as you will find out if you use it a lot. Make sure the surface normals are the same on both objects as this can cause problems if they are not.
